Let's help a new 120mm film to be created :)

[acording to the sticky https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/137-photographic-industry-professionals/1...cuss-here.html i think i put the thread in the right section. If not, feel free to move it, and accept my apologies. If i put it in the right section, you can delete this part ]

Hello everyone,

I've seen this on the web, and i want it to share with you all the photography and film lovers.

Cinestill, that makes a 800 iso tungsten balanced film in 35mm, want to lauch this same film in 120 format.

Here is the kick starter campaign : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cinestill/cinestill-medium-format-film

I pretty much prefer to see film appear on the market, instead of disapearing, so i'm backing this. hope you will do it too.

Thanks for reading it

(note : i have no link whatsoever with cinestill, i just like the product, and i'd be happy to see new film around. )

There are some stunning images taken with the film on the Kickstarter page. Wonder how they converted to digital? Leagues above my Coolscan output, that's for sure.

I'm all for it. Anything to keep the film market going is a plus in my book.

It's not very hard : don't let the scanner do any kind of tweaking in the curves, contrast, etc ...
create TIFF files to have a Raw file to work with.
Tweak what's needed in a PP program.

With this i usually don't need any tweaking except with very huge DR on it (with a black part and a highlights on the same picture).
