Exactly.
Anything aspiring at being the "ultimate camera" should at least have a variable aperture (as a bare minimum), and to date this has only happened a couple of times in a phone (N86, Honor 6).
Not to talk about true shutter priority, manual modes, interchangeable lenses etc. etc. etc.
At any rate I'm very excited about this news.
