The FF crowd are so desparate for new lenses for their not even released lenses that they think that even telephoto lenses made for the Q are for them instead.

I'm holding out for the f2.8 'Pro' version....

yeah it's fun!

I'm guessing it's f5.6 over the whole range looking at that outersize front.
I know, I know, an old one...

Cheers,

One guy is holding a nice professional microphone on a boom pole. Forget about the lens -- Pentax is finally taking video seriously!

Looks like a smaller Sigma 300-800mm f5.6, must be the Contemporary and not the Sport version.

And the new Sigma Tele-USB Dock sits behind the lens.

That is not a joke anymore. This Pentax 250/3000mm is a real thing. A beauty, and a very big value. I would like to have even the smallest from that picture.

Thanks for posting this picture.

I don't think it's acceptable if even one bystander is injured or killed over a couple of photographs...
Just the other day I saw some people testing out their drone on the street, flying high and low.. but there were cars driving along the street, I thought it was quite dangerous if the drone falls down onto a moving windshield or motorcyclist
Dont think there is any drone regulation yet, unfortunately. But on the other hand, this allows some great drone footage of places you otherwise wouldn't be allowed to photograph. I saw a series of photos taken around the world, was quite nice, but thats a whole other topic

With that lens I think I will be able to see Pluto. Probably another galaxy with some aliens.

There's three Pentax lenses in that picture, two smaller ones on top side by side, and the canon below, I'd be happy to have the smallest of the set..Pentax used to make really nice tripod support in the day.

Thanks for pointing that out -- it's easy to overlook the Pentax logos on the two "little" lenses, when they're next to the big guy.

Another example of the three amigos, Pentax style ...
