Wow, great job! Killer quality!
Shows that Pentax CAN be used effectively for video. Only saw two brief shots where i noticed a slight pentax-esque look, but the rest was amazing! Great job!

Nicely done Ben. I have had my K3II now for almost a year and I haven't even tried the video as yet.

Hehe, i meant that sorta low bitrate look, maybe the first couple shots. But I could just as easily be imagining it. And also the wobble, but that might just be because of dslr and not necessarily because of Pentax.

The quality you've pulled from the K-3 is really great! I've been griping recently about Pentax Video, but all the recent great examples that people have been posting show that all it takes is a bit more effort than some other brand cameras.

How did you shoot the video? Did you color grade or anything?

Do you have any plans to test-drive a K-1?

That is the look the Director wanted. She loves that RAW look and adds tons of grain often.
Here is the link to all of our videos shot with the Kx, K-01, K5 and K3's.

Nice.

It's nice for the Pentaxians who shoot video to FINALLY overwhelm the naysayers or the folks who think video doesn't matter to the "average" Pentaxian.
Well done Ben (as always, and for almost a decade of saying so)!!!!!

If you know what you're doing you can make a great quality video using any camera. But... pentax doesn't make it as easy as some other brands to do so.

Just press the record button. Shoot tons of rushes for your post-prod, et voila...

I tried with my K10D and you are right, Pentax did not make it easy

Borrowed my friend's Nikon Df and that was not easy either. I am so discouraged.
