Interesting survey. I think they should have asked which other brands of lenses we use with our cameras as well. Have they done any surveys on what we want in future cameras? It would be nice if they would also do a survey on what other gear we would like for our cameras, such as HSS capable radio flash triggers.

Thanks for posting the link! Made me late getting home from work yesterday, but worth it.
I always appreciate another official channel via which to tell Ricoh that we seriously need a first-party fast normal lens for APS-C like everyone else has. With as full of a dedicated APS-C lens lineup as Pentax has, it's a wonder this hole has gone unfilled for so long.

Completed. Based on the questions and range of options, it will be interesting to see what the next few lens roadmaps look like.

Done. Had to add 16-45/4 though.

Done the survey... Quite interresting. I would have like to be able to go for rather f/2.4 or f/2.8 WA primes than f/1.8 or f/1.4 that I know will be huge/heavy and that I'll not buy and also an option for a 135mm f/2.8... My father expressed the same issue.

Other than that, the issue quite well done and complete.

I have yet to find a survey created to discover information rather than merely confirm opinions and decisions already made.
It would be interesting to hear if the answers lead to anything in the future.

I pushed for compacity, weathersealing and silent AF engines, rather than anything else... and voted for FA Limited "modernisation".
Also voted for a DFA 18/1.8 because there wasn't slower, and for new f/4 DA telezoom in the medium range.
Next time, hopefully next autumn, i hope to get a feedback to the results and effectiveness of their use by RI.

I love Pentax is doing fine. I miss some questions regarding 3rd party lenses.

I guess it will largely depend on the number of surveys collected and of their convergence/dispersion

Well, it doesn't seem easy to foresee how a new lens will perform commercially, taking into account what other lenses reached previously, in the case of new range/fov optics.

This can however probably be mitigated in the scope of a new product-line, like formerly the "Limited" where.

Imho, Ricoh HAS TO RETHINK it's lense product lines, in order to impulse more sales, given the already highly improving quality of their DSLR products.

Hopefully, they will soon be able to do this.
