A preview of two new primes, 35mm and 50mm normal, which will be released in .. 2029? Uncle Scrooge Ricoh counts on kingdom come sooner than that so that they are not committed to anything.

Please contact Ricoh asap and tell them to correct the roadmap:
http://www.ricoh-imaging.co.jp/japan/products/lens/images/K_Mount_D_FA_Lens_Roadmap.pdf
First, there are way too many lenses in there, and second, the date is wrong.

Why didn't they put the macro on that roadmap? DFA100WR and DFA50?

I find it is pretty sharp stopped down... but the real appeal, for me, with this lens is the large focal range in a relatively small and lightweight package. It is fantastic for walkaround shooting... where you know you'll be out for hours.
This is why I´m also interested in this lens for the K1 although it´s not a FF lens and on the K5 I only could use it with open aperture. I´d really like to get a DFA150-450 and would also be interested in the DFA70-210. I tried both on the K1 in a shop. After 5 minutes I felt no more joy because of the weight (at least 3kg!). For stationary usage with a monopod or tripod they´d be ok for me. Unfortunately there´s no lightweight DFA f4/100-300 in sight - not even on the lens roadmap. So my hopes go with the 55-300 PLM. Well, I´ll see if it matches my hopes concerning IQ. And I hope it will be possible to use it with the DA 1.4x-TC similar as with DA18-135. Latter combination has some problems in auto focusing infinite - quickshift helps ;-)

Indeed; this roadmap is about new D FA lenses (that's what makes it a roadmap ).
For the existing lenses you have to look at a different document:

I'm not sure I would call a D FA 100-300 f/4 lightweight; the Sigma is over 1.4Kg. A modern version might be heavier.

True! It is hard to imagine that a D FA 100-300mm f/4 wouldn't be significantly heavier than the DA* 60-250mm f/4. For example, the filter size would probably be significantly more than 75mm, compared with the 60-250mm's 67mm; bigger elements at the front.

Most probably, yes.

@thibs, Barry, Kunzite - you're probably right. Some years ago I tested the DA60-250. It felt heavy but not that much as the 70-200 and 150-450. I guess every gram counts above 1.5kg. The slowness of the DA60-250's autofocus I didn't like and the issue I read about SDM let me stay with my Vivitar S1 f2.8-4.0/70-210 - that by the way weighs 793g including the metal hood I bought some day.

For me, this is above 200-300g. FA31, F135 and 55-300 are the heaviest I have

My ten cents worth, pure speculation:

1) More FF lenses (a no-brainer);
2) Maintain interest in the 645. No new body yet, but perhaps some new lenses (leaf shutter?). Pentax needs to maintain the market initiative they won with the 645z, so they would be foolish to let it sit for too long;
3) KAF4...does this indicate a new focus on video capabilities? Either way, with KAF4 they appear to be developing lens technologies (good to see), so I expect to see more developments on this front in the very near future;
4) Auto-focus. It's still not up to standard, and they are still getting slammed for it. I expect they will continue working on this (or if they aren't, they should be). The cost of developing AF further can/will be of benefit to every camera (costs are split), so it seems obvious to continue improving it. In my opinion it is now the single biggest short-coming of Pentax cameras.

As I said, pure speculation on my part, but I'm pretty sure they're looking at most if not all of the above areas as we speak / type

I just received the newsletter from Ricoh Imaging Germany. Nothing, either expressed or implied, about new products to be shown at Photokina.
