Right now entire "Q" family seems to be getting as much attention as this question has.

Nobody outside Pentax knows what their plans are for the "Q", or whether they even have any plans, and they aren't talking.

And Ricoh them self, has now stated public what both me and Asahiman said..KP is not replacing K-3II

Good to hear. As per this morning's email, my last 'friend/contact' @ Ricoh Imaging USA "no longer work(s) in the camera division. . . " but I was in touch with new people this afternoon - yes, good times ahead.
