Their IS system is from the early 90s IIRC, so in-lens only. I
From a customer point of view, if you take a single lens, then the IBIS is slightly worse on a DSLR because it doesn't stabilize the viewfinder (Having a stabilized OVF is surprisingly very noticeable!). IBIS is just far more cost-efficient the more lenses you have. The exception is that for longer tele lenses I'd argue that in-lens is generally the better option.

Seems as though Nikon thinks that the F mount is on the way out. Not that they will shut it down soon, but clearly they want the Z mount to be the wave of the future. Surprising if in that situation someone bought Nikon for the SLR side of things.
