A moment of silence for quashed desire and clouded vision; their credibility reduced to ashes.

Question...what part of all this speculates an October announcement date?

....back to our moment of silence...

DA*16-50/2.8 II
DFA*60-200/4
DFA*85/1.4

would be nice..

And if they still consider FF to be interesting, then they need 24/1.4, 35/1.4, some DFA12-24, DFA24-135/4 and also DFA70-300/4-5.6

Apparently you buy into the philosophy of "only the best for 'FF' ".
I would rather see 'FF' lenses that lots of people can afford - more DFA lenses that are not "perfect" but cost much much less than DFA*.

Plenty of these are available on 2nd hand market. FF system is only viable if you provide excellent fast glass for it. If not, you can easily get same or better results with APS-C system usually for less money, size and weight.

Personally I prefer APS-C as there are just few tasks, where FF provides more. And these things are connected firmly with FF specific lenses that unfortunately are not available for K mount anyway (Fast wide angle lenses). Pentax FF is just niche.
