Beautiful, doesn't instantly mean profit or success. Something lost on many: One of my mentors has several websites that he owns, he usually 'codes' builds them himself, and they are UGLY. But they put money in his account every day.

Yeah, but if the product is visual images, you'd expect a website that reflects quality in production of visual images. If you're selling hardware, then your website should reflect an entirely different ethos. What I liked about Ms. Price's website was that, as a photographer, she's showing prospective clients how well she can do visual images, a clear invitation to hire her for your wedding or whatever.
