To keep the topic going, I admit I've had enough of baby photos; myspace shots and photography that doesnt tell me anything.
ftp, that's a brilliant use of HDR, and doesn't bother me in the least... Looks great. I personally would prefer some blown highlights near the cars left headlight, and slightly darker shadows under the car, but that's just me and I'm weird.

Re. baby photos, there seems to be some sort of electrochemical shift in your brain, after you have a baby that makes all baby's and kids about a thousand times more interesting to look at than they were pre-baby, so, having a child makes you vulnerable to posting child pictures and appreciating those of others.

I guess there isn't any subject that doesn't annoy somebody.
I have my own list as well (a long one, I'm afraid).
Like LaRee said: keep an open mind but when it gets to bad, just turn away

Then there are subjects that really shock. There it doesn't help to turn away: you can't "un-see" something you've seen.

I would have to say Wedding Photos. It's not the photos so much as what they represent. To me weddings and funerals are the same concept. Only you never take pictures of a funeral.

I dislike any photo that is completely out of focus .... that's about all I can think of.

Other than that ... I can't say i dislike a style though.

(know what you mean woodworm, but some of us just cant help it!)

.
Somebody say baby pictures?

For me, it's...

Snapshots that are oversharpened, overcolored, over-everything. I've seen some stuff posted on various forums where the people don't even look human anymore. Then people go ohh and ahhh because "it's so sharp!".

O noes, I've been called out lol:

I guess I'm not really keen on insect or bird photos, but I do respect them & the shooter.
Also baby shots and performing art photos as well.

"Test Shots"

Brick wall sharpness tests, newspaper, the focus chart. To some people, this IS a style of photography.

For me it is the repeating photo. We have all seen them on different sites. If one picture of Uncle John, Cousin Mary, Brother Bill and all of their friends is good enough then all the shots taken right after that are even better. You could line the photos up and flip through them to get a movie. I do take a lot of shots like that in certain situations, we all do. But I then review them and pick the ONE shot that best illustrates what I was attempting to capture. If anyone cares to look through my portfolio you will see that I avoid that at all costs. That being said you will also find some baby shots, some wires and even some incidental cars. But they are the exceptions.

You have to know the rules before you can break them.

I have to say the selective desaturation really does top my list, along with over-the-top HDR (I've done some lower-key HDR myself).

Something that bothers me, though it doesn't annoy me, it just makes me wonder about people, is people who endlessly take pictures of the same subjects and take some honestly kind of nice pictures but never really do anything creative with the subject...

With due respect, it looks fakish to me. HDR when done right looks really good, unfortunately, overly 99% of what I've seen are just too obvious.

What i don't like:
Bird photos. I just don't get it. I am a nature lover but i just can't get into birds (the feathered kind).
Perhaps it is more of dislike for static images of birds, or cats, dogs, insects etc? These images I can appreciate:

1) From eBaum

2) From Blondcavefish
