MBP photo

Has anyone ever used MBP to buy gear? Never heard of them but curious. I usually buy from a local store (if an hour away is considered local).

I have purchased several lenses from them - I find them on par with KEH....

I bought my X-T20 from them. I've bought from KEH, Used Photo Pro, B&H, all about the same.

I’ve had great experiences with them buying and selling. Sometimes they have excellent prices.

I have bought many camera and lenses from them the last 2 years. Both Pentax and Nikons. I have always had a very good experience with them . I consider them on par with my experiences with KEH and Usedphotopro who I buy from also.

When I want gear ..I always start with them..they tend to be cheaper than the others.

I have purchased from the MPB UK and Europe sites and they have been pretty good. If the US version is equal in operation, then I'd say you'll have a good experience with them. After Brexit, prices have gone up on both sites, however. Curiously, the UK site historically hasn't listed any Pentax gear (that I'm aware of) and the EU site has only about a dozen Pentax items at any given time. They've got lots of everything else, though!

I have used them recently in the US. Please be aware they use FedEx to ship.

I only used them once, when I got the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 in really good condition (just some very minor wear on the side) from them a few months ago for ~$205 (with taxes).

Mpb hasn’t let me down yet. Got some excellent gear at extremely reasonable prices - often below market rates. Good communication and customer service too.

What I find on the German site hasn't impressed me yet (though I haven't purchased anything from them so far). Not much choice, and if there's an interesting lens in a great condition there's something missing (but declared so), like lens hood or pouch...

And after Brexit I'm very hesitant to try it out, since I think the lenses will be shipped from the UK?

MPB has a location in Berlin. The UK site is in Brighton and the US site is in Brooklyn.
