I am interested in renting a lens for a vacation.
Do any of you recommend a specific site or have any that you think I should avoid?

Depends where you are. In the US Lens Rentals are probably no.1 Lensrentals.com - Rent Photo > Pentax > Lenses

I liked the experience the few times I've rented from Lensrentals.com.

I had good luck with lensrentals.com, although I’ve only used them once. I believe they have a policy that you have to sign for your lens delivery in person, so I had it delivered to work.

LensRentals Carries Pentax, and I recommend them for US rentals.
