Agreed. Of the available options the silver cam with the black "hump" looks the least jarring. But yeah... all black would be better.

I wanted to like the yellow, as I love yellow, but it just looks off to me. I will vote for the silver and black.

Edit: I am pretty sure it's the silver with the yellow and black, it just doesn't go, especially the popup flash housing.

there's actually two variations of silver. I wish they'd put the black top and knobs on a black camera so we could have one that's truly black. And the silver knobs on a sil ver camera so we could have one that's truly silver. As it is...well...not too great, IMHO.

The problem I see with yellow is that it attracts insects so you run an increased risk of trapping one inside your camera while swapping lens. You would not want a fly to sit (or even worse) on your sensor, would you?

Me too if it proves a workable option. Had hoped for a articulating rear screen, for it to become my macro camera. Still it seems to have the same SR as the k-5 which hopefully means it will work with the O-GPS1 and become an Astro camera... in which case it being yellow will make it easier to spot in the dark!

SR sure is an advantage over the NEX system. Out of curiosity, how is shake reduction useful in astro photography? Aren't you always using an expensive tripod? Forgive my ignorance.
