I'd personally like a red one to go with my red 18-55mm red k-x lens. Silver/black will do though.

I posted this elsewhere... but here's my pick (and what it reminds me of):

By the way... concerning the all black idea... They did the special edition K-5 Silver. Since there's already silver K-01, maybe a limited "Onyx" version based on your image. I'd still pick the silver for me, but that black one is sharp too!

Can we add all black to the "Official" Poll? And, is it silver like the photos above or white? Seriously, the photos at Amazon list it as white and certainly look white (not silver) and Pentax USA has it listed as white as well. I think the silver is the best of the ones I have seen that are actually scheduled for production but I do not think the white is as good looking - again, looks are less important that function but you asked.

What is this fascination with color? Black or silver, it's not a fashion accessory it's a camera!
Try using this without a viewfinder for fast sports or family action, long telephoto (without a tripod), or in bright sunlight.... ain't going to make it!
That screen will suck the llfe out of the battery too.
This typically is a case of 'me too -ism' instead of good planning. It's a toy with a high price.
For a professional or advanced amateur it is utterly useless.

Interesting that so many like a silver and black body, and consider that an "exclusive" sort of color combo. Back in the day (60's, 70's, 80's), silver and black bodies were the norm. And an all-black body meant paying extra $. The times, they are a-changin'.

USA version of K-01 is black/white.

European version of K-01 is black/silver.
