World's First K-01 Hands-On Video

Hey everyone,

I shot this hands-on video with the help of Pentax Canada. I'd love to hear opinions from the hard core Pentaxians!

Congrats on the scoop! Thanks for posting! Looks like a good size when you see it being used, not too large at all.

Very nice video - seems genuine in its appraisal of the camera. Too bad they couldn't actually put it through its paces as a camera. One comment about having to hold a button while turning the wheel was unclear to me but the rest of it was really well done. Good for The Camera Store and Pentax Canada!

Thanks for hanging out here

Great video and I am sure, will remain one of the best K-01 videos after more of them emerge. Well done!

What did you say exactly about video? "gain control, video manual full control, audio-level control"? I couldn't understand everything.

Kind regards,
Falk

The AV button on top of the camera is quite uncomfortable to press while spinning the exposure wheel. Chris actually found it much easier to use both hands, one for the button, one for the wheel. Not a great solution though...

Video shooting gives you full manual control of shutter speed, aperture, gain, colour settings, and mic recording levels. It's a great looking camera, video spec wise.
