Who is moving from dslr to mirrorless?

This is a searching for news thread. Now that K-01 specs are out, and it looks like a great trimmed down K-5, who is going to buy it? And especially the question:

Who is moving from Pentax dslr (whatever K-5/7, K20D/K10D, K-r/x/m or *Ist) to this new mirrorless K-01 now that all old lenses can be used?

Not me. I'm trying to decide whether to keep my K-x and get the K-01, or get the K-r replacement, or get a K-5. I'll wait until the K-r replacement is announced at least.

I currently use a Lumix GF2 as a P&S and for videos. I might ultimately replace it with the K-01 or successor. However, my main stuff requires dSLR. This would be more compatible with my existing Pentax system than m4/3. I also have an ep-1

The dimensions of the 3 are:

113 x 68 x 33 mm for the GF2
120.6 x 69.9 x 36.4 mm for the E-P1
122 x 79 x 59 mm for the K-01

My K-m can use all my K lenses, minus the cons of the K-01. BTW, I wonder where is the thumb rest. I hope it won't slip like a soap.

My exact situation. Are you my brother from another mother?

GF2 is nice but high ISO no good. Was going to get GX1 but K-01 comes along with in-body SR, better high ISO via the delicious K-5 sensor, and a whisper-quiet shutter. If the K-01 meets my everyday needs, the GF2 gets gifted to a friend...

Your K-m doesn't have this.

I just sold my K5 to fund a X Pro 1 does that count? I still have a D700 but I don't use it much. After spending some time looking at the K 01 I actually kind of like the design, but no EVF means I won't buy it. I think the design is fine but am puzzled by the lack of a EVF.

Either that or great minds think alike.

After playing with the Nex-7 for a few hours, I decided that my time hadn't quite come to change technology. However, I am rather curious as to how the new Fuji would perform with my K-mount lenses. - and so I'm hoping someone will get one soon and report their findings.

I'm sticking with my K-x until the replacement for the K-5 comes out. Unless of course I decide to buy a K-5. So no I'm not moving at least not this generation of mirrorless.

I'm not moving, I have zero interest in mirrorless in their current state.

I didn't like the design of the K-01, but it is starting to grow on me. I won't be trading in my k5, but I would seriously consider selling my km for the k-01 if it had a viewfinder. Shooting with an LCD in the sun is near impossible, so that is a dealbreaker.

I would have been interested based on pricing and compatibility with my current legacy lenses. I will keep saving up and see what comes to replace the K-r. if the K-01 had a EVF I would have been even more interested. So we will see whats next for the DSLR market.
