Shutter release cable port?

Sorry guys I did not see this stated in the specifications. Does anyone know if there is a port for manual shutter release cable? Cheers.

Sorry but the official Spec Sheet PDF from Pentax lists the following interfaces only:
USB2.0
AV Output terminal
HDMI Output terminal
Stereo Microphone input terminal

It does list the IR Remote as a optional extra for it and there is a receiver on the front hand grip.

Although I don't have these items in my gadget bag just yet; the instruction manual states that there are two seperate/different remote controls available. I've found that with an adequate tripod or some other support that the self timer completely reduces any mechanical issues.

Which brings me to a bit of an (off topic) question of sorts... Wondering if this K-01 will work with a c-mount adapter and telescope?? Another thread idea?

Both are IR - and via IR the K-01 doesn't feature 'Bulb'-mode.
Maybe Pentax will change this (just some small changes by firmware) or even enables the mic input to be used as wired remote input (like some of the Panasonics).

C-mount won't work (flange focal distance 17.526 mm (0.69 inches)). But teleskopes do, just get a T-2 adapter.
