Pentax K-01 + 40mm pancake lens - AUD 849.
Pentax K-01 Mirrorless Camera Including 40mm Lens - Black | DigiDIRECT Australia

Pentax K-01 + 40mm pancake lens - USD 899
Pentax K-01 Digital Camera With 40mm Lens (Black) 15242 B&H

Finally the price is much more reasonable locally....

My hope is that the K-01 body only kit will retail for AUD 700 or so and settle to around AUD 650 in a month or so.....

Pretty similar pricing I'd say, but add what B&H want for shipping (cheapest is $66.46 USD to Australia) then it's definitely cheaper to buy here.

Thats more like it! Now we ask why did it take so long?.......Oh well, hopefully a sign of more equivilent international pricing which means more pentax stocked locally which means MORE PENTAX SOLD!!!
