So it looks like my K-01 has shipped...hopefully I'll have it early next week and our in-depth review (which I will be doing personally this time) will follow shortly thereafter.

I plan on doing some unique things in this review, such as mounting not only manual lenses on the K-01, but also trying out big lenses like the 300mm F2.8 or 250-600mm F5.6 to see how well the screen and AF hold up!

Splendid! Personally how well MF lenses work with the K-01 is the biggest question for me.

Sounds great Adam. You probably already have it on your list, but could you please test out the movie mode to see whether full manual is possible. Also, if you could compare the K-01 AF speed to a K-5 in live view?

Yeah, two of the biggest questions are CDAF performance as well as movie mode. From what I've heard at CP+, though, the K-01 AF is much better than that of what you get in live view on SLRs. It better be, too!

AFAIK, the first batch of K-01 is on the way to Singapore already, should be here either by today or tomorrow. They'd be in local camera shops by next Monday

Yes... another request for information about how useful the K-01's rear LCD is in bright sunlight. This is critical in a $750 that provides no alternative to the LCD for composing.
