I'm sure I wasn't the first one who got the coolest camera in town, but I'm still very happy to get hold on mine today
Since I've had black, silver or even white color cameras before, this time I went for a yellow one, and I feel it's the best looking K-01 among all three color options. Here are some photos I took when I opened up the box:
The box looks really nice, much better looking than all boxes for previous Pentax dSLR cameras:
Not surprising, the local warranty card was on top of the other content inside the box:
Everything is well organized and packed as all other Pentax dSLR cameras:
These are all we (K5 owners of course) wanted, aren't they?
Finally got to the most exciting part, the camera looks much better than I thought:
I wish I got time to setup a light box to take some better photos, but for now these will do:
The strap was also designed by Mark Newson, of course it'd look different from all the other straps:
Since I've already played the camera (prototype) before, I'm more interested in how the new lens perform on a film camera. It doesn't look bad when mounted on the most beautiful Pentax film camera:
As expected, there is no vignetting or dark corners or whatsoever in the viewfinder w/ this new pancake lens mounted.
