jogiba, great stuff. Like others, looking forward to seeing some video. Personally, I would be very interested in seeing how well the SR system works in video mode while walking -.with your Rode stereo mic the rig should be fairly weighty which helps remove minor vibrations. One question now you have the camera and instruction manual, do you know if the maximum ISO setting is capped in video? Thanks

When I tried manual video mode ISO settings were 100-3200 and shutter speed starts at 1/30 sec.

Thanks, 3200 is a bit better than I expected, not bad at all. I would also be interested in your thoughts about the AF in video when you have shot some.

There is no continuous AF in video mode, you AF or MF the scene before recording. I like the 10-24mm since it has great DOF even in low light .

OK, thanks jogiba. No continous AF mode in video is going to be a deal breaker for some, but as you say, a lens with a wide depth of field can work around that - up to a point.

I think only sony has that at the moment, and from what I've heard the implementation isn't great. I am not a video guy though so don't quote me.

My daughter says her network news videographers manual focus.
