I had forgotten just how much I like my Promaster (Tamron) 28-105.
Looks great on my white 01 too!

Robtcorl - Very nice photos, especially with such an inexpensive lens.

This is very much not my best K-01 shot, but I do like it - and, it's the first shot with a newly acquired 40/2.8 XS, that I am putting through its paces (trying to figure out how it stacks up against the 40/2.8 Ltd -- no, I'll be selling neither )

Nice portraits.

Some shots I liked from Supercon in Miami. Everything with the FA43 under very poor lighting conditions. Was shooting mostly at ISO 3200.

I also have a color version of this one but just thought I'd try for a glamorous look.

Amazing detail.

The K-01 is the preferred beast for photomicrography--Live view is its way of life, and it is light on the microscope. And it makes terrific videos too! Found this guy in some stagnant water. The set up is as follows: K-01, lens removed; screw-mount adapter; Asahi Optical Microscope converter; trinocular microscope with dedicated camera port and adapter. This is at 100X, live mount

A nice cat portrait, hard to catch while they're active. If shot at 2.8 maybe would have gone a little higher for a little more detail, but still nice

Yeah, it was shot at f/2.8 - I was testing the two lenses on that aperture when this of my kitties decided to climb up the fig tree Had I had more than a split second before she jetted upwards, I'd have stopped down just a wee bit more
