Hi,

I thought I would share this time lapse from my recent stay at L'Esterel resort, north of Montréal.

I know I could have done better and I learned my lesson doing this time lapse:
1- Charge the batteries
2- Take LOTS of pictures to have a clip of a long enough duration...

In this one, I've set my video editing software to display each pics 0.3 second. I took 82 pictures for the first part, and when I noticed the battery was drained, used a fresh one for the next 170 pics.

Nice work Marc-Antoine. I don't know if there is a thread for time lapse, but if there isn't that would be a great one to start with.

Not certain what type of bugs these are. I think the top one is a wasp of some kind?

Squirrel!

Cropped photo of the best macro I could get using the kit 50-200 DAL lens. Dragonfly of some sort.

Random bird at mini zoo at a local park. Taken with my Rokinon 85mm aspherical lens. The funky wavey lines is just the wire fencing I was shooting through.

Ducks at the same mini zoo using same lens. You can see the fencing on the left of what I was shooting through.

Last picture from the mini zoo.

I quite like this image. Very well done. What kind of post processing went into it?

Thank you.

I used Lightroom 4, edited it first in Color Efex Pro to get detail in the corn and the moon and then took the processed image into Silver Efex for final adjustment.

Rainy days definitely spike the amount of cat-images I take.

Beautiful shot barondla!
I've been by the Faust butterfly house a few times, but never inside.
I need to go and see how the critters react to a white 01.

Had this composition bouncing around in my head for the last week or so. Wanted to use the FA77 or DFA 100 Macro but my tripod didn't go high enough to really get it all in so I went with the DA70. Still like how it came out overall. Also gave me a chance to use my newly acquired Manfrotto LED light which I rather like so far.

Trying to capture a lovely butterfly. But the winds were against me... making it hard to photograph him as the flowers swayed. *shakes fist at the wind*
Slightly out of focus due to wind. Or operator error. or both!
