Was at the Mosaïcultures exhibition today in Montreal, and we ran into a super friendly dragonfly. I took one good portrait:

But after that it decided that I looked so very friendly and would thus make a great perch! Several times, it stayed on me for a while, then took off, only to come back and land on me again! It was pretty cool.

At least the (spreadwing) damselfly nearby just posed for a while:

A wife of a close friend wanted a head-shot for her Realtor business card. This is the pic that they decided on. FA77 and Manfrotto LED light.

The K-01 makes for a great astrophotography rig.

Cameras- Pentax K-01, Sigma DP2 Merrill
Lenses: Pentax 18-135, Sigma 8-16, Sigma 70 macro

From yesterdays walk a 14 km round trip walk into Perly's Chute, one of our favourite fall destinations (and place of the demise of 3 kayakers over the years).

The main camera body is a Pentax k-01 with Sigma 8-16 and SIgma 70 macro, with possibly a few 18-135 images as well.

The area...

The foliage...

And one Sigma DP2M image, I don't get a lot of useful images with this camera yet, but when you nail one, the detail is incredible.

Purchased a Quantaray tripod/monopod (by sunpak) off Woot a week or two ago. Used the monopod portion of it today. It sure is a life saver with 20mph south winds! Helped me get a few good shots by keeping the camera steadier than my poor hands could keep it. Need to zoom in to the full picture to see all the detail. I think these came out great.
