close to church

Drove by this on the long way home from Easter with the family... an abandoned farmhouse with a small, country church on the horizon.

Kyle, these last two shots of yours are really, really nice. That DA 15 Ltd is amazing on the K-01.

I would like to share some shots that taken out from K-01 with the 18-55 Kit lens. The Esplanade and Merlion Park at Singapore.

Of the three, and all three are absolutely gorgeous, the third one is the most stunning and lovely. That kit lens is no slouch.

Thank you!

I really love the DA15/K-01 combo... great output given the small kit size. I still need to figure out processing... probably need to bump up the sharpening a bit.

I really enjoyed looking at all these excellent photos. The K-01 is impressive with all the lenses used taking these pictures. Of course all you shooters look like you know a thing or two about taking great pics.

Thanks for the display. I much prefer viewing wonderful images over the endless debates about lens prices and a full frame.

Once again, nice job to all!

Very confused with the K-01... keep or sell?

First day with my Yellow K-01 but found my self placing the camera to my face as to look into the view finder a few times. Very sunny Tokyo afternoon so looking at the LCD while trying to zoom took a little getting use to vs my K-x/K2000. Considering selling the K-01 for a K-5. But perhaps I should give it a try for low-light situations before deciding what to do.

That food looks good enough to reach into the screen and eat. In fact, I might just drag my hapless husband and son out to our nearest Japanese restaurant this evening because now I want food like this!

Hehe... Actually its a great little Korean spot in Tokyo
I've used my Pentax K-m for nearly all my foodie posts in Japan and miss the camera a bit. Tokyo Foodie Adventures
Just trying to get use to not having a view finder. I'm sure after a few weeks the K-01 will start to grow on me.
