Some photos with DA 55.

Sunburst through the Trees.

Water Web.

Just Before Dawn.

Stepping Stones.

Very nice! I especially like the sunburst shot and the web. Quite moody!

Those are really fine, but I liked the last two, misty dawn & stepping stones, just as much.

Thank you both. Surprising how good the K-01 can be, eh?

No not surprising at all, at least to those of us who own at least one BTW I absolutely love the misty dawn photo, it reminds me of something.

Cheers!

Cross posted from post your photos. The K-01 is great for this, no need to bend all the way over to peer into a view finder.

There are a lot of photo in the series, so I can't post them all in a thread. If interested click on the link at the bottom.

I have noticed a lot of mushrooms in the woods the last few days, so I was thinking. "Macro Mushroom Magic." But then I thought, "I have hundreds of Mushroom shots, what can you do with those things, I need to do something different." So today on my walk I took a great buddy who lives on top on the camera case in my dining room. Bird Watcher Bear. He's always ready to go, knapsack on his back, binoculars around his neck.

BW checks out a shroom...

Hey that shroom is just the right colour to be a hat.

I think I'll try one on, this one looks to be my size.

Two shrooms are better than one...

Checking out the fungus among us can be a lot of work.

A few fungi that are more my size.

The biggest shrooms of the walk.

Very cool looking shroom, it looks like coral.

To see the whole adventure... click here.

Very nice plane! I've been an R/C aerobatics freak for decades, but haven't built many scale models. Your plane looks way fun.

Some early fall color on a Redbud tree... I always liked the transitioning of green and yellows--and curves. 40 XS kit.

Took the K-01 out west with me to Calgary / Jasper / Banff / Churchill. Definitely makes me feel it's time to part with my K-x.
