Have not been using my K01 for a long while. Finally brought it along for my holiday at HK/Macau... Only brought with DA10-17 and FA77 for the trip along with a GR.

The K01 still never let me down with it's performance.

I generally prefer film for star trails, but I'm liking some digital results. One continuous exposure, just a few hot pixels easily removed. My 40 year old SMC TAKUMAR 35/3.5 does the trick here. The large white shading right of center is the Scutum Star Cloud and not a defect in the image.

Had this old video camera sitting in my garage for awhile now and figured I'd try out an idea for a still life. I processed the photo in Lightroom 4 first then tossed it into Color Efex Pro 4 and added the Velvia filter along with some film grain. Tried to give it a bit of retro-vintage sort of a look.

Proof that early rising pays! Lovely shots all, but number two is my favorite.

Thank you both. The 16-50 has nice sun bursts, but you have to be careful, because it will flare badly if you get just a little too much sun.
