Still a little Russia and Pentax K-01

These are all very lovely! Nice tonality in that first shot and I like the clouds/smoke in the second shot. The statues are interesting as well. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, Chuck. If I was stuck on a desert island, I would want a DA *55 and a DA 15 limited with me.

Oh, and a volley ball named Wilson, too...

Love the Castaway reference. And oddly enough, I also have the DA* 55, and just ordered the DA 15 Limited, taking advantage of the Black Friday special pricing.

Really lovely photos, Vincent! I've been toying with the idea of buying the 55--though it's pretty dear--these photos are not helping me to resist temptation.

It's funny. I bought the lens to take photos of my kids (which I do a lot), but it has turned out to be a great landscape lens too. I guess when I go out with the 15 and 55 it is like I have a 15-55 zoom, but can only use both ends.

The detail of your "Toy world" is amazing, with some excellent photos as well.

A few more from Mexico...

First, a jumping spider macro. Got a whole lot of these, but for some reason, I quite like this side-lit shot. It's also incredibly sharp - even a 100% crop still looks good. But this is a square-crop of a vertical shot, retaining the full width of the frame.

Secondly a "creatively-framed" (aka miss-framed) grasshopper shot that turned out great, IMHO:

And finally, I ran into these super-shiny weird red ants, and the flash - even diffused - bounced off them in an amazing way, really making the "texture" of their skin stand out. I think this is one of my favorite shots ever.
