Just something a little different.

I know this one is a bit of jumbled mess but I just like the colors and textures. FA31

A shot from my shoot with a dancer named Kate who contacted me through Model Mayhem. A friendly passerby actually offered to let us use her Dodge Challenger for a few photos which was very nice of her. I've still got a lot to learn but at least I'm getting some more experience under my belt. FA 31

Another shot from that day.

Looks like you're getting good use out of that Sigma! First shot reminds me of Infrared photography and the second one is just kind of fun with the exaggerated curves.
Yep the sigma is fun lens to use although it can be serious if need be, but I like experimenting with its "push-pull" characteristic. A very different animal compared to my 15mm ltd and 10-17mm FE. Good eye on that second shot, I am experimenting with B/W IR...something I've been wanting to do for a long while now. Here's another IR taken with the 15mm ltd.

BTW Chris you've been uploading some great stuff lately...keep at it

Well life has been keeping me a bit busy recently so not a whole lot of free time, but here are a few more shots from this years trip to Vietnam. This time taken as I sat as a passenger on the back of a moped while riding around the city of Saigon at night, just a couple of nights before the new year. At that time of year there are flower and fruit tree vendors and shows all over the city and in the streets...and it gets crowded.

Never posted a photo here, but here's one. An alley from a recent trip to Beijing. Really enjoy the K-01 and dynamic range.

@restyl great photo, the position you took this shot from utilizes the angle of the sun in such a way that it brings out a really nice painterly effect emphasized by the highlights on the flowers. What lens did you use?

-----------------------------

Few more from my night motorbike ride around Saigon. Of all the modes of transportation I used there (taxi/bus/private car) the motor bike is the most enjoyable way to get about the city. If you ever travel here and you don't have family or friends to take you around on a motorbike, you can rent one or just ask around for a "Xe Om" pronounced "Seh Ome" and let them do the driving. They are plentiful, inexpensive and interesting.

Only cars allowed down that street. One of the few traffic laws I observed that were obeyed

The local cemetary puts up a flag for every veteran burried there for Memorial Day, making a very impressive sight especially on a windy day. Lots more flags behind me as well.

Another interesting IR shot! I think you should keep doing these. Maybe someday I'll find a reason to get a variable focal length lens but till then I'll stick to my primes.

BTW, thanks and will do Skippy!
