Quite nice! Looks like a beautiful spot. I can only imagine what a long exposure sunset/sunrise would look like taken at this location.

Snapped these off today with the trusty 31.

This is only a snapshot, but after seeing it on my computer I felt I had to share this summertime moment.

My friend jumping off his boat.

After the rent is paid, this is really what life is about in my opinion.

Location: Jamaica bay, Queens, New York. Near JFK airport.

May your summer memories be as pleasant.

@mike bokeh : this reminds me of the series "Sun Of The Beach".

15000+ competitors in the main marathon in City of Flint Michigan today.
In the preceeding week there have been lots of events for the kids.

I don't use my K-01 often. This time I had the K-01 with the Vivitar 28mm 1:2 28mm CFWA preset focus, iso 800, 1/40th with SR on, and well stopped down, holding it as high as I could reach, while still able to see the frame.
This 1 Mile start is typical of the kids' events, the oldies get to run in a separate start a few minutes later.

This is lovely! Probably would have made for a nice long exposure as well.

A few different shots.

One with the DA *16-50.

One with the FA 77.

And a panorama with the DFA 100 macro.

More exactly: one of the wooden churches from Kizhi island, Karelia :) <--- I was wrong -- I like the mood of the photos, they are so different from the usual "Kizhi wooden church" photos. Well done! - Thanks for bringing back good memories, I've been there (and in a few other places in the north territories) in 2012 - and I won't hesitate going back anytime.

All three are beautiful, but the one with the river is my fave. Nicely composed and executed... Congrats!

Thanks for rating photos ... but it's not Kizhi. This church is located near St. Petersburg.

Thank you restyl, for the correction - and also thanks for the information about the Petrovskaya! Nice job with the virtual 3D tour - whoever has done it. Let me post two snaps of the Kizhi island wooden church (taken with the K20D) in my "defense" - just to show to the forum mates how close I was :P
