Well, it looks like there's about four of us left actively shooting the K-01...

Well as long as we enjoy the camera. It is my most used camera.

Mine, too, or at least it gets equal time with the K-5 IIs. I must admit I'm somewhat overawed by the four, or five, or handful, or more whose K-01 work is so exceptional. I keep trying--and finding enjoyment with the camera.

K-01 is definitely my most used camera and I love all three of mine. I can see myself getting a K-3 (maybe that snazzy prestige edition) in the very near future if the black friday deals are any good but even then there will always be a place in my camera bag for one of my K-01s. It just works so well with those wonderful limited primes. Those of us who are loyal and happy K-01 users seem to post fairly regularly so I foresee this thread having a long and virile life ahead of it still.

Well I'm thinking of adding an extra K-01 to my kit. Your 43mm images are great and that lens is not in my bag. For studioshots I use mostly K-01 and either 31mm/55mm/85mm so I have to change more then I like. So one extra K-01 would come in handy. Just not clear on the color of the body.

Well, since they are so dang affordable these days you might as well get another one. I don't like to switch out lenses so I a have K-01 for each of the three amigos (31, 43, 77). Since you already have a yellow I say go for the white or silver. The black one is kind of boring in comparison. Thanks for the kind words by the way.

Indeed. The K-3 is starting to pull at me though. Think I saw you stating you're not using your K-3 much? I figure I might as well try the full-on DSLR experience before deciding to switch to another brand's mirrorless, and for a macro shooter, the extra detail from the 24mp sensor has some appeal. But it's a big camera...

Also a possibility - get a third K-01 and wait one more year before any body upgrade... Thing is, the G.A.S. is starting to bother me...

Here's a shot with a reversed Pentax-M 28-50mm F/3.5-4.5 (@F/22 and probably around 40mm) on 32mm of extension tubes:

I had the Silver on borrow, but didn't liked it. I owned the black one, but sold it. Used it for video at the time. So I'm looking into the white one.......They never been sold in Europe, so I have to look around ebay or so.

I sold my K-3. No need for the extra megapixels for me.

These are lovely. I especially like the third and fifth shot.
