K-01, Lensbaby Muse Kirby would like to be allowed in the kitchen now please
I hadn't used the accordion-style Lensbaby Muse for a long time, since acquiring a Composer, and was thinking about selling it. In fact I hadn't mounted it on anything since back when my best Pentax body was a K20D. But now I find that focus peaking makes the old Muse much easier to shoot with than before, and although my keeper rate with it is still pretty low (and I still didn't quite nail focus on the eye here), it's a faster, more spontaneous process than the separate unlock, swivel, lock, focus operations of the Composer. Definitely time to get re-acquainted with this obscure low-tech toy.
