The K-01 plus that tiny pancake lens, the DA 40, is a great combination - for strolls - for landscapes - and for the odd shots inside my writing studio where the remnants of last Halloween are all too visible

At very very high ISO's (25,600), in very dark available light shooting situations, my Black Widow 'Brick' shows much more visible grain than, say, the newer (and more high-ISO-optimized) sensor in my KP.

But even with the grain, it's still kind of a cool shot

Bookstore Angel

Strolling through the deserted downtown streets of the small Oregon town where I live, near sunset, I saw a spot of light in the window of a closed (because of the coronavirus) bookstore; when I got closer, I saw that the bookstore owner had left a tiny Angel glowing in his window, like a beacon. I had my K-01 with me, with its trusty DA 40 pancake lens, so....

Here it is: the one and only Bookstore Angel of Talent, Oregon.

Wow, those are some wild shots, I think you're the kind of photographer where the equipment used is second compared to talent of the person behind the lens.

Happy belated birthday!

Took my K-01 out of hibernation after realizing that I had missed its birthday (4/9/2013). 7 years old and still a joy to use. Some recent captures:
