Dance 5.0.7!!

I went to a new young dancegroup last evening. I know one of the dancers, she was before for my camera. Only took K-01 with FA*85mm (wich was the wrong choice because there was only limited room and I could better have taken DA*55mm or FA31mm).

1)

2)

3)

4)

5)

I only took jpg wich gives good workable pictures and concentrated on mostly open aperture to keep iso low and have sometimes movement in the pictures (some of the rest of the series has more off that).

Ron,

Without meaning to disparage the others, all of which were good, I was really taken with no. 5!

Things in the background do interfere with the image to much sometimes, but this was just a streetperformance with people standing around the dancegroup.

Thin DOF

I love working with the K-01 and thin DOF on my expensive lenses. Much more easier then with a K-5 (is my opinion).

K-01 with FA*85mm set on f2.0

A clinic for soccergirls.

She looks like he's been playing pretty hard Ron....
And I agree about the K-01 with peaking and narrow DOF. Easier and more accurate than point autofocus then recompose. Nicely done.

I have to say that I am so impressed with the quality of the images on the K-01 post. Strange, but I get the impression that as a whole or a group, that Pentax users are more creative than your classic Canon or Nikon users. That is only based on my subjective observations. None the less, really impressed! Bravo!

These shots were taken of a museum's roof using a K-01 with the 21mm limited and the camera's flash. They have such a different look to then that I though were worth posting. These are jpegs converted from raw with just some crop, no other PP.
