Thx. Most of the model photos were taken with the DA70. It's a great portrait lens and one of my favorite lenses overall. Just so much IQ in such a small package.
Awesome! Great to hear! Guess I better start saving since I blew most of my spending money on the K-01 and the DA 21. Might be able to get the 70 by the end of the year though. I think between the Sigma 16 manual, the DA 21, the 40 kit lens, and the DA 70 I should be pretty well covered. May pick up a used 100-300 F4.7-5.8 SMC FA to cover my Telephoto needs, unless someone has a better recommendation for around $100 price range.

No, just modeling for photogs to build their portfolios. I just did a writeup of the event and my experience with the K-01

What Blog is this?: Photographing models with the Pentax K-01
Just a like for this blog. I use my K-01 for studiowork, with nice modellight it is a joy to use and much more easy then the K-5. It's most for webshop, so you donīt see the topquality in the end.

Just home from working in studio with Vera as model. I worked before with her.

Just a picture between things.

Dang.......all I can do is to mimic Wayne's World: "I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!" Excellent shots; very impressive.....portraits is one area I have not been able to get the hang of.

Since everyone's tired of pix of pretty girls (okay, so NO ONE is tired of pix of pretty girls, but I'm a computer geek, so I don't know any o' thems ), here's some pretty flowers, or leaves, or berries, or whatever:

(All shot with the F 35-70 3.5-4.5).

A couple of low light sunset shots from last night to see how the camera and 40mm kit lens worked.

Looks to me like both the camera and the lens are working more than fine!

Auto Museum

A couple of low light shots taken in the Kokomo Indiana Auto Museum. I was using the FA 50 at f1.4 and ISO 800.

Some of these should be submitted to the Pentax Photo Gallery because they are pretty thin on K-01 images there.
