Some more shots from the day. The guy in the green is my brother and he was using our Canon T3i.

Here's one using the 40mm lens after a little enhancement in Photoshop. I was trying out Topaz Detail 2.

Shot with the FA77 on my Yellow Brick This was at ISO 3200 - pretty darned good high ISO I must say! (crossposted to the FALtd. thread)

Has anyone else found themselves using manual focus almost entirely, with the focus peaking it making it so darned easy?? Focal lengths 10mm-300mm - I'm using manual focus most of the time. Interesting!

Just a quick throw away shot I did of a friend to demonstrate depth of field to him. PP'd it up a bit to pack a little punch.

I call it A Man Apart Living in His Own Shadow aka My Buddy Standing in a Sunny Parking Lot.

I went to a new young dancegroup last evening. I know one of the dancers, she was before for my camera. Only took K-01 with FA*85mm (wich was the wrong choice because there was only limited room and I could better have taken DA*55mm or FA31mm).

I only took jpg wich gives good workable pictures and concentrated on mostly open aperture to keep iso low and have sometimes movement in the pictures (some of the rest of the series has more off that).
Great example of "action" shots.

Really growing to like this camera. Handheld. ISO 12000. Could never have gotten this shot with my K-20, as my feline friend runs away when i put the camera up to my face...holding it out doesn't bother him

Shooting b&w for a change of pace, using my F 35>70mm.
It's fun to see the preview on a screen, instead of a viewfinder, for a different perspective.
When I first got the 01, I would start to hold it up to my eye, and now when I pick up the K5, I start to hold it out from me.

Good composition is, and always will be, a bitch for me to learn.
But I have fun trying!

Nice shot of your cat. Looks a lot like one of mine. Love both the K-01 as well as our cats.
