Some shots from today that I felt like experimenting with PP wise. Might pose a few more later.

K-01 with DA*50-135

Some shots from Apollo Bay, Victoria, Australia.
DA*50-135 is a little front heavy on the K-01, but the IQ of this combination is outstanding.

Some more architecture and home style photography which is not really my thing but I thought I'd try something different for a change.

Trade you our cold and snowy weather for your closed beach.

Let the pooch out this morning and saw this tree shadow on a neighbor's house.
May be as good as it gets for me on Pentax Day.

Rokinon 85/1.4.

Just a B&W version of one of my previous shots. Let me know which you prefer.

I much prefer the color version.

The color version looks alive, while the B&W version evokes a feeling that the building is abandoned,

You almost expect to see a ghost at the railing.

Odd how color or the lack of it can change a mood so much.

There is no right or wrong answer here.
I prefer the b&w version because it does "evoke a feeling".
The way that the conversion darkens the sky just above, it creates sort of an ominous feeling.
I don't get that from the color version.
Maybe it's that sense of drama that makes it more appealing to me.

The wife. Kit lens, available light and a little PP to smooth out the skin.

Thank you for everyone's responses. It's true there is no right or wrong answer.
