Salagubang, that first portrait is stunning.

After buying a yellow K-01 body, I immediately dig its abilities and limitations extensively, then went out shooting with it...
Now, here's my very first public post of photo created with the Pentax K-01 combined with a manual A 28mm lens @ f/4, ISO 800, 1/250sec shutter speed...
Photo is edited minimally using Lightroom 4...

Another addition to my abstract collection. Taken with the DFA 100mm Macro WR. I call it P&G (Purple and Gold).

Stopped at an old church on the way home from work. Let me know your thoughts on the processing and which you prefer. I know I personally prefer the B&W but I always like to try new things.

Virgin River with Bridge Mountain Backdrop

Here is a shot from our recent trip to Zion National Park. Cross posted in the post your photos thread where I have been posting most of my shots with the K-01.

The standout image in this series for me is the B&W bridge. It must have been a "fairly" long exposure to get star bursts like that as well as the dramatic range of tones on the bridge. I've looked at this image several times yesterday and today and when I see it I think of the movie Sin City...very cool. I like how the guard rail draws you to the bridge and for me if I scroll down the page just barely enough to cut out the moon, which tends to lead my eyes up and away from the bridge, it becomes ideal. Well done!
