EbisuHapa, you have some nice images. Food pic makes me hungry. Good job. For indoor still life shoots I often use liveview instead of optical viewfinder. Love the magnified view for focusing. Also find that camera is often at an akward angle and it is tough or impossible to get eye aligned with optical viewfinder.

It usually takes me 1000-2000 shots to feel at home with a new camera. Give the K-01 a chance. It is a learning experience. That is part of the fun. The incredible image quality doesn't hurt either. After 6 months of Q ownersip I still throw the camera up to my eye, once in a while, when in a hurry. I sure look stupid when doing it.
thanks

Hi, any comment or suggestion or word on the combination of K-01 & FA 31mm Limited? I'm planning to purchase this FA 31mm Ltd. for my K-01. Are all batches of FA 31mm Ltd. made in Japan?

Thanks a lot. Joe

Getting one of the best Pentax lenses ever and coupling it with a camera that's capable of excellent image quality will make you one happy man.

Good luck, and enjoy!

Just back from a short trip to Andalusia. Really happy with the camera whilst I was away. Bright sunlight on the display was a bit of a pig though.

I took this photo when I visit Stanford University. The blue fountain looks so beautiful.

I used K-01 with FA* 24/2 to take this photo.

No. Mine certainly isn't. I wouldn't let that worry you though, it's a ripper!
I haven't got 'round to using it with the K-01 yet, but that will change this weekend.

Thank you ibkc and sworks. I think I will need to get a shade for the display - but only for when I'm out of the UK. The sun in Manchester is a rarity!

Here's one I shot today with the K-01 and DA 40/2.8 Ltd. I'm not sure how I feel about this shot yet. I wish I'd had a wider lens with me but I didn't and I'm not sure if I've overdone the PP. The light and the sky was quite dramatic though.
