Here's one I shot today with the K-01 and DA 40/2.8 Ltd. I'm not sure how I feel about this shot yet. I wish I'd had a wider lens with me but I didn't and I'm not sure if I've overdone the PP. The light and the sky was quite dramatic though.
A dramatic photo. You’re on the brink of overdoing the PP but the menacing clouds and vivid grass add to the eeriness of the picture. Good job! And congratulations on your 1000th post!

My preference would be to tone down the brightness on the greens - currently it looks like the sun is making the grass too bright.

What browser are you guys viewing with? Chrome doesn't support color profiles and I've noticed my images often look over done when viewed in Chrome but look proper in Firefox. Maybe this is only on my machine though.

I use Safari. I always convert my photos to the sRGB colour space when they’re destined for the web, which should maximise consistency across different platforms and browsers. You can never know for certain how your pictures are going to look to other viewers who may or may not be using calibrated monitors and may or may not have them adjusted to similar settings to those that you use.

I'm on firefox - the colors looked fine in saturation, just the grass is a bit brighter than the rest of the image.

Finally finally finally got a real M42 adapter (Pentax's own, natch). It did not come in until early evening tonight so this isn't a "best" picture but simply a test pic I am excited about. I suspect I will be using this lens with the K-01 more than any other until I can expand my collection further. The sharpness and beautiful bokeh of those Zeiss lenses just kill me and I am perfectly happy with manually focusing.
This was shot at 3200 ISO in a fairly dark corner. I tossed a small noise reduction filter on it in PSE before uploading, but other than that, no other processing besides the usual RAW tweaking. Carl Zeiss Jena 2.8/50 Tessar lens.

A nice shot. I love the way the clouds echo the forms of the tree branches.

Spotted a cute little girl exploring how to take a good shoot with her Coolpix. My first try with one of my M135 f2.8 manual lens.
