Here's a couple from yesterday. Decided to play around with post processing on these. Both were shot RAW with K-01 and DA 16-45 and processed with ACDSee Pro 3.

Did a little country road driving with the K-01 yesterday. Here's one of them:

More fun with my Carl Zeiss Jena 2.8/50 Tessar. These were processed with Topaz Adjust.

And finally, this abstract self-portrait. The K-01 can do in-camera multiple exposures, and it can do it in RAW mode, which is nice. I just got around to messing around with this feature today. It's going to take me a while to master it; the colors came out pretty funky, which is why I processed this one into a split-tone. Still, there's a lot of potential there once I figure out what I'm doing.

Abandoned country school house in Northwest Wisconsin. Barbed wire to keep those pesky students out!

And another schoolhouse from the same drive, probably 30 miles down the road:

Hi, any comment or suggestion or word on the combination of K-01 & FA 31mm Limited? I'm planning to purchase this FA 31mm Ltd. for my K-01. Are all batches of FA 31mm Ltd. made in Japan?

Thanks a lot. Joe

Getting one of the best Pentax lenses ever and coupling it with a camera that's capable of excellent image quality will make you one happy man.

Good luck, and enjoy!

Thank you, Kid. At the end of the day, here is my unavoidable outcome:

Also, many thanks to Kyle for your information and sample photos shared on flickr.

Let me share a result of these 2 monsters combined. Although they weren't born together, they are purely meant to be together!

Congratulations, Joe! Man, that silver FA 31 looks great on the black K-01. Ummmm, want to trade for a black FA 31? =D

Beginning to enjoy the K-01... just took a little time.

Missed the viewfinder so picked up a 2nd hand K-x (great low light)... and K-m (great contrast and colors during the day)... just hooked on Pentax.

Here's one of my daughter taken with the K-01 & FA43/1.9
This was taken using the onboard flash which I think did an impressive job.

That would depend upon what you originally used the K-5 for.

Not that I've ever had any major issues with my K-01, but some would state that the autofocus isn't quite ideal for very fast moving subjects - or for subject that might be poorly lit. Although my personal perspective is that every camera out there does have it's pro's and con's - some more than others. I'll take a galnce upon your album and post an few suggestions based upon that

...Oops, just checked, your album is even better than mine - but also somehow missing

old country school

A few more from the old country school I drove by this past weekend. DA 15 and FA 31 lens, heavy handed processing in Silver Efex (gotta love these K-01 raw files):
