Just got my first manual pentax zoom and I'm really enjoying it on the K01 with the focus peaking. Pentax A 35-105mm f3.5

The Pursuit

This image was cropped considerably from a series of shots taken with the 40mm XS in sports mode. The AF seemed to track the pair fairly well as they swooped around the water.

Went to the local B&A Flea Market here in Stuart which was one of the few places open on Easter. Took some shots a few trinkets and statues.

We also stopped by a church on the way home and there were some statues in the front. This was probably my favorite shot of the day. I'm seriously in love with the FA 43 Limited. Such an amazing piece of glass!

Very nice work! That first and fourth shots are great. If you could have moved the trash can and signs out of the shot then that could have been a killer B&W.

Great stuff TMB! I also like the first image. Is it a multi-exposure HDR or is the effect applied during post processing? The dynamic range is really nice.

The 1st and 3rd are soft-HDR images using the basic version of photomatrix. (not even true "multi-exposures", as I just saved 3 images of the raw file with the raw exposure slider at -1.5, 0, and +1.5)

The rest all are just simple shadows/highlights corrections in Elements 9 with a light high pass filter.

The sidewalk shot with the garbage cans was around 9:30ish, when the sun still has that "warm morning glow" effect, which is why the colours came out so nice.

I really wish I could have moved the garbage can on the boardwalk shot, but it was attached to the pier.

Also, I usually shoot the K-01 with the high dynamic range option turned on.
