I've noticed that uploaded image files often seem to be reduced in quality (compressed) by a percentage, perhaps as much as 30%+. Perhaps your image started at a high compression?

This are my best first day pictures, i have the K-01 for about 5 days, i am spoiled by my Olympus OMD E-M5 with the holy trinity of lenses (M.zuiko 12mm f2; Panaleica 25mm f1.4 and M.Zuiko 45mm f1.8) so i found the K-01 quite slow, miss focus a lot, the performance of the bundled 40mm DA XS 2.8 quite soft. But overall, i found the colors quite good, and the extra DOF control welcome.

Both images captured at f2.8 and worked on Lightroom and Silver Efex pro2.
