I've said here a few times, that I use a tripod for most of my shots, and that I've always loved photos that look like paintings.
The K-01 excels at both of these preferences. With its focus peaking, it was made to be used with a manual focus lens, and with its many digital filters, ones imagination is truly the limit with this camera.
I saw these brightly colored glasses (they're actually plastic) in my local supermarket, and thought they'd lend themselves well in a colorful scene.
Here they are with minimal props at their side, echoing their colors.
Both were shot using my Lensbaby 3-G @ f2.0, then the pastel digital filter was applied. A marriage made in heaven. Previously, I had trouble focusing my Lensbaby at f2.0 (wide open) or at f2.8, but with focus peaking it's much easier.
