I've said here a few times, that I use a tripod for most of my shots, and that I've always loved photos that look like paintings.

The K-01 excels at both of these preferences. With its focus peaking, it was made to be used with a manual focus lens, and with its many digital filters, ones imagination is truly the limit with this camera.

I saw these brightly colored glasses (they're actually plastic) in my local supermarket, and thought they'd lend themselves well in a colorful scene.

Here they are with minimal props at their side, echoing their colors.

Both were shot using my Lensbaby 3-G @ f2.0, then the pastel digital filter was applied. A marriage made in heaven. Previously, I had trouble focusing my Lensbaby at f2.0 (wide open) or at f2.8, but with focus peaking it's much easier.

No, you can't have the banana - I ate it!

Interesting stuff! I like the PP on these!

I've always been interested in getting a lens baby especially for the video possibilities and the shaped bokeh options available.

Here's some samples from the wedding of a co-worker/friend I attended on Saturday.

Oh, LeRolls, I think you would love a Lensbaby.

Their main model, The Composer Pro, is much easier to use than the one I have, the 3-G.

I'm thinking of getting one with the edge 80 optic, but I'm having so much fun with my 3-G, and the digital effects of the K-01 it can wait.

Here's their site: SLR Camera Lenses for Nikon, Canon and more | Lensbaby Lenses

Nice wedding photos, by the way.

Mike

If I may interrupt these photos, I have a question: How do I cross post an image into another thread?

I'd like to post my two images in post # 1490 to the Lensbaby thread.

I tried to upload them again, but the system told me these two images are already uploaded.

How would I do this?

Any help appreciated.

Yeah, depending on how many side jobs I get the rest of the year (weddings, portrait shoots, etc...) then I may get myself a lensbaby. Of course I've also got to get the FA 31, the FA 77 and the DA 15 first.

Thanks by the way!

As I am a huge fan of the internal picture processing of the K 01, I did not do anything to the picture but sharpening.
Of course it is only a shot of my cat, but I love the contrast and the colors.
Done with the Walimex 85 /1.4

Cross Posting

If all else fails, I'd guess you could simply rename the two photos by adding a suffix letter to the original file name.
