I'm interested in the comparison as well.

I posted my comparison re: K01 and K30 using the long lens in the following thread.

https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-k-30/192015-post-your-k-30-photos-here-66.html

Suffice to say, it is clear to me that the K01 is awesome for wide angle and filming (also portrait too). But the handling issue makes the K30 a certainty for long lenses and macro work (grip controls the shake).

That said I am now considering buying an old Asahi Pentax camera handle/ grip to compliment my K01 to give it better handling capability. Also, I am in the process of receiving an old sony viewfinder that may enable monocular viewing of the LCD display. I should take delivery of this item in a few weeks and will start the modification process (to the viewfinder of course

Alvin - you made the M-28m f2.8 come alive more so than when I had my copy.

The 43 focuses fast enough for me... All the FA limiteds that I have focus about the same. Based on my subjective experience, my F135 focuses faster but not by much.

My son likes to wear his pajamas inside out (and backwards!) This too will pass.

Correction: I have not used the F135 on the K-01. The focusing speeds to which I was referring were on the K-5.

I've got my DA15 coming in the mail courtesy of a forum member. Looking forward to putting it through it's paces! Oh and the FA43 works great on the K-01. My overall favorite go to lens! It is a bit noisy at times though.

Cool ! ...its probably the best of the da limited lenses imo, though I like all of them. However I've been thinking about perhaps getting a FA 43mm ltd, not to replace my da 40 ltd which I still think is one of the best all around lenses to use but rather to use it in a similar manner as you have been doing such as for close ups of objects or for portraits of a unique focal length (seems extremely well suited for these given its sweet bokeh). The noise is a negligible issue I think especially for B&Ws which are still my favorite types of photos. Let us know when you get your 15mm...btw any recommendations on a solid quality very portable tripod? I really want one especially for using with the 15mm, 10-17mm and 100mm macro as well as for long exposure stuff...I've got 2 in mind that I've been going back and forth with but have yet to pull the trigger.
