It's definitely worth it, IMHO. I went in not knowing what to expect, not knowing the artist at all, and was quite impressed. Pretty cool stuff, and very photogenic.
Here's one from the vault. Last April, walking around my neighborhood, trying to get a decent squirl shot. Used a Tamron Adaptall 70-210mm F/4-5.6 (158A) I got for $30 including a P-KA adapter. Turns out it's an OK lens! I was about to give up when I ran into this little critter, that seemed as curious about me as I was about it. I'm very happy with this shot. Something about the geometry, the lines and the pose...
