Nice David, I love the Helios for the swirly bokeh and colour rendering. It's a perfect fit with the k-01.

I went to the FINA World Swimming Cup the last two days. Made some wonderfull images off the swimmers, making some new world records.

Also made a nice candid off the girls who assisted at the medal ceremonie and carried the medals and flowers. This image I saw on wednesday, but I was at the otherside off the pool. So on thursday I took my chance to create this. Offcourse it is de daily news image slideshow.

Here are a few more macro shots. BTW, I measured and my M 50mm F/4 macro with a 20mm extension tube can fit a 26mm-wide image at closest focus. Given that the K-01's sensor is 23.7mm wide, that's a 1:1.1 macro combo. Not bad.

Long time since I posted anything here but I'm just too happy with this shot of a Crane fly not to share it.

The gear used:

Pentax K-01 (obviously)
Pentax Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 (Reversed)
Pentax AF280T flash
Cactus V5 (for better flash angle but also too have something to be mad about since they only fire like 1/10 of the time)
