I was looking at taking a shot like that yesterday where the highway was passing through an Aspen bush... I couldn't believe it, wires on both sides of the highway... they just won't give a photogrpaher an even break.
Thanks. Yes, I live in a relatively populated area -- well, it is country, but population density is higher than out west -- and there are power lines every where.

It is a decent lens, but if you can afford it go for the SMC Pentax 67 100mm F4 Macro is one of the sharpest 67 lenses. Unless you have a 67 system I would opt for something in the full frame 35mm line such as the SMC Pentax 100mm F4 Macro. Most likely the 67 version will be more expensive, so unless you need a 67 system lens......

My wife is shooting a wedding today, so the only camera and lens I have are the K-01 and DA 40 limited, so had to make do...

Kind of a dreary day. I posted some B and W versions in the black white thread and I think I like them better. It was just that sort of a day.

And make do you did! Very well! It's been so unseasonably warm here, that there has hardly been a hint of Fall color

Thank you.

I would have thought that your weather would be almost the same as ours. Temperatures in the days here have recently dropped into the low 60s, but at night is dropping into the upper 30s -- enough to bring out some color in the leaves. It lets me know that winter isn't too far away.

I don't know if you've read my Yashica 21mm review, but I'm really loving this lens on the K-01. I just set it for hyperfocal length at f/8 and go shoot, and it pops out these fantastically contrasty images.
